VINYL:

 

-- Visually (under bright light):

 

– Jy Is My Liefling. Appears to have been gently played only. A few spindle marks 

on both labels. A few ultra-fine sleeve-removal-type scuff marks, and a few ultra-fine hairline scratches, but the overall impression is very favourable. The vinyl looks 

clean, with only minimal signs of wear and handling. A real find in this condition.

 

-- Audio:

 

– Play grades as VG++ and better. 

 

– LP plays right through. No 'skips', 'jumps', or 'sticks'.

 

-- Kimberley Jim. This has been played more frequently than Jy Is My Liefling. 

Several spindle marks on both labels. Many ultra-fine sleeve-removal-type scuff 

marks, and many mostly ultra-fine hairline scratches.

 

– Audio:

 

– Play grades between VG+ and VG++

 

– Despite evidence of wear in places, the sound is still good. The vocals are clear, 

and the music is to the forefront.

 

– LP plays right through. No 'skips', 'jumps', or 'sticks'.

 

COVER:

 

-- The main flaw with the cover for Jy Is My Liefling is that there is a small area  of corner damage (a tear) to the bottom right hand corner. This damage was not 

immediately noticeable to me.

 

-- Scuffing, and general wear. Some slight wear to the opening.  However, despite such minor flaws, the cover is still very well preserved for its age. 

It still looks fairly clean, and the colours are still bright. The lettering on the spine 

is still perfectly legible. No seam splits, writing, or stickers. The cover is intact and 

fully functional. Given the above, I would grade the cover for Jy Is My Liefling 

as Very Good. 

 

 -- The cover for Kimberley Jim also has scuffing and general wear. However, like the 

cover for Jy Is My Liefling, it also looks well preserved for its age. It has slight creasing, 

scuffing, general wear. However, it still looks fairly clean and the colours are still bright. 

The lettering on the spine is still perfectly legible. No seam splits, writing or stickers. 

Cover is intact and fully functional.

 

--– The main flaw with the cover for Kimberly Jim, is that there is 'feathering'  to the opening. There is also slight damage to the back of the flip back sleeve (at the top.)

 

– The cover for Kimberly Jim is in Good or Very Good condition, depending on 

your criteria.
