This 45 was purchased by Randy and has not been played. Because of this I will not be grading the audio but selling it as is to the new lucky owner.
This album comes from the collection of Randy Barrow who believed that young records should not be exposed to second-hand smoke and that all vinyl deserves temperature control.
Questions? Please ask…..
Album:
SS (still sealed): Album has not been opened since production at the factory. Disc is thought to be undamaged and in mint condition but this cannot be proven until the album is opened.
M (mint): The album is perfect. There are no defects and the album looks un-played. Any scuffs or hairline fractures would make the album not qualify for a mint rating. We will not be using this grade since simply moving the record out of the album cover may cause miniscule scraped.
NM or M- (Near mint or mint minus): The vinyl should be almost flawless and shiny. A few minor scuffs can be visible but no scratches. No audible noise should be present when the disc plays. The label should also be close to perfection. This is the highest grade we will assign to a record.
VG++ (Very Good ++): The disc may have minor scuffs from the cover but it plays near perfect. There can be a slight scratch or two but nothing that affects play. The label is unmarked and the vinyl is still visually pleasing.
VG+ (Very good plus): Vinyl still has good luster but has some visible surface wear and minor scratches/scuffs. There is a small impact on sound quality but the labels will be clean with slight wear.
VG (Very good): Vinyl may appear dull or grayish but the noticeable scratches or scuffs will only cause minor surface noise – it will not overpower the music. Labels may have small tears, tape marks, large writing, or other noticeable defects but they will still be legible. There may be tearing or deformation of the spindle hole.
G (Good): The vinyl will be well played with deeper scratches/wear and a dull, grayish appearance. It may have distracting surface noises (hisses, pops, cracks and other sounds). The record will not have any skips and the label may be significantly defaced or damaged.
Album Cover:
SS (Still Sealed): Album is still in original shrink wrap.
M (Mint): The cover should look perfect. There will be no corner dings, marks, tears, dents, impressions from the disc and the cover should appear as if a record has never been inside.
NM or M- : (Near mint or mint minus): There is minor signs of wear or cover impressions. The artwork is very close to perfection.
VG++ (Excellent or very good ++): The cover art is clean and unworn and there is no wear in the ink. There might be a minor disc impression or slight creases in the corners. There will be no wrinkles, puckers, seam splits or writing on the cover.
VG + (Very good plus): The album might show the start of ring wear and a slight discoloration or staining. The cover will be clean but have minor writing/marks and slight wear. There may be slight discoloration or staining/minor seam wear but there will be no splits or tears. The corners may have small creases or staining.
VG (Very good): Covers look worn. The seams have begun splitting and may have been repaired by archival quality, non-yellowing tape. There is some ring wear but the artwork still looks pleasing. There may be discoloration, large writing, or marks. The corners may be damaged and scratches/gouges could be present.
G (Good): Several (but not all) flaws will apply: Seam splits, large marker writing, major seam splits, large amount of ring wear, damaged corners, tears, masking tape, gouges, or other flaws and damage. It is probably only useful to fill a hole in a collection until something else could be found to fill it.
F (Fair): The cover is only useful to keep the record from being damaged.
