Led Zeppelin II RL Robert Ludwig on Side 1 and Lee Hulko Side 2. Both sides etched SS for Sterling Sound.

This is the unusual Robert Ludwig pressing with Lee Hulko who worked as a Mastering Engineer at Sterling Sound with Robert Ludwig. Ludwig has said that Hulko’s mastering was done from his notes. This is not the later repressing where the bass was rolled off, this sounds like a two sided Ludwig to me. I have all of the Ludwig pressing versions of this album except for one Germany and have sold many.

VINYL looks VG-/VG though much plays better!!! Many light hairlines and scuffs, but don’t worry there are no loud pops or skips. Mostly superficial light scuffs. Light ticks/crackle at intros, between tracks and very quiet sections of music. A few moderate clicks occasionally, doesn’t overwhelm music, an enjoyable listen for this very rare and extremely popular record album without the sky high cost many sellers are now demanding as the RL’s are being sought.

Vinyl is record vacuum machine cleaned and in archival quality inner sleeve.

Atlantic Records SD 8236 1st U.S. pressing on matte cover with original Atlantic inner sleeve.

Columbia Terre Haute pressing plant information as indicated by the "CTH" on labels and the"T" etched in runouts.

RL SS etched on side one, LH SS etched on side two with narrower runoff.

Test played through sounds FANTASTIC!!! So rare to find one of these that is clean enough to hear the fabulous reverb and room sound!

COVER G with heavy edge and spine wear. Some stain/fingerprints and rubs. Bottom mostly split, top part split.

INNER SLEEVE G tears, seam splits.

Will be safely shipped in proper mailer with record removed to prevent splitting!

U.S. 48 states, no international sales
