The Beatles 'The Alternative (Working Version) Of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' bootleg CD. A wonderfully detailed and comprehensive package featuring alternative unreleased takes and mixes recorded during the Sgt. Pepper sessions and loaded with extras.

The CD brings together an extensive collection of rarities from the Sgt. Pepper sessions recorded during late 1966 and early 1967. Arguably the greatest and most influential album in popular music history the total recording time spent on Sgt. Pepper's was over 700 hours at a cost of about £25,000. These sessions produced numerous early working demos, alternative takes and unreleased mixes which are featured here. Many tracks are intersected with dialogue from The Beatles and George Martin charting the songs evolution and development making for a wonderful and now historic insight into the recording of the legendary Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album.

Upon its release on the 1st June 1967 Sgt. Pepper received overnight critical acclaim. Various reviews appearing in the mainstream press declared it an instant masterpiece. In The Times newspaper, prominent critic Kenneth Tynan described Sgt. Pepper as "....a decisive moment in the history of Western civilisation".

The package included here is the finest bootleg edition of Sgt. Pepper I have ever seen. As the versions included here are unreleased it is designed to look like a acetate copy of the album.

• Comprehensive booklet on the artwork of Sgt. Pepper - featuring the original uncropped and unedited cover photograph detailing the people removed from the design etc.... Alternative Sgt Pepper drum logo design and a selection of alternative cover photographs. 

• Benefit of Mr. Kite poster (originally owned by John Lennon and the inspiration behind the song).

• Back cover with track listing, recording details and track timing.
