The Beatles - 'From Then To You - Expanded Remastered Edition (1963 - 1969 Christmas Recordings)' CD

The Beatles 'From Then To You - EXPANDED REMASTERED EDITION' CD. Each year between 1963 and 1969 The Beatles released a Christmas flexi disc through their official fan club. The discs contained Christmas greetings, music, messages to fans, snippets of songs and the boys generally having fun. In 1970 with the Beatles split up and the fan club all but finished they issued one final Christmas record 'From Then To You'. This combined ALL the Beatles Christmas recordings on to one album.

In addition to the complete Beatles Christmas Fan Club recordings this expanded edition brings together a collection of 12 very rare Beatles Christmas related recordings. The full track listing is below but a few of my personal highlights from this expanded edition are: Paul McCartney's 1968 and 1969 unedited Christmas songs (brilliant), George Harrison's legendary 'Pirate Song' (weird and funny, pure George), a huge 9 minute December 1964 Christmas Show interview, John's demo of 'Happy Xmas (War Is Over)', 'Mull Of Kintyre' live 25th December 1977 and 'Wonderful Christmastime' live 17th December 1979. A wonderful collection of rare tracks, plus much more.

This CD is a bootleg, expanded and remastered edition of that now very rare vinyl LP. As mentioned above it features ALL of the Beatles Christmas Fan Club flexi discs on one CD plus additional tracks. The sound quality of the Fan Club recordings is amazing as it has been professionally and carefully restored.

The package included here is the finest bootleg edition of 'From Then To You' I have ever seen. The CD is designed to look like an official Apple vinyl record complete with a host of extras.

The package includes:

• Authentic album cover design with the reverse featuring numerous Beatles Christmas images. This opens up to show colour images of each original Christmas flexi disc, along with song title, song length and the original release dates and recording information.

• Accurate reproduction Apple Records CD label design.

• 'Fresh From Apple' double sided insert promoting the new Fan Club only album.

• 'Apple Records' promotional poster. These originally came with a select few 1970 'Let It Be' box sets.

• The Beatles Christmas Card (this can be filled out inside).

• Back cover with track listing, dates and track timing....
