The Beatles 'Abracadabra The Alternative (Working Version) Of Revolver' bootleg CD. A wonderfully detailed CD featuring alternative unreleased demo takes, unreleased mixes, 1966 interviews and seldom heard 1966 solo material from John and Paul. This comprehensive package is loaded with extras.

The CD brings together an extensive collection of 26 tracks recorded during and around the time of the Revolver album. It is widely regarded as the Beatles finest and most creative work alongside Sgt. Pepper. It is of particular interest as it marks the first time that the Beatles deliberately incorporated the studio into the conception of the recordings rather than simply recording a selection of tracks. This CD features some simply magnificent tracks. A few of my personal highlights are: two wonderful versions of ‘Here, There and Everywhere’, ‘And Your Bird Can Sing’, ‘For No One’ and two very rare versions of the stunning ’Tomorrow Never Knows’ (take one which is very different to the released version) and the 1st UK vinyl issue featuring remix 11 which was withdrawn from sale on the first day of release. The two 1966 solo tracks from John and Paul are a joy to listen to (have these ever had an official CD release?)

The package included here is the finest bootleg edition of Revolver I have ever seen. As the versions included here are unreleased it is designed to look like a acetate copy of the album.
