Innuendo A2/B2

This first UK pressing plays with excellent audio and with very little 'background'.  The cover is in great condition and is super clean for its age.

Visual grading

The vinyl is in great condition and still has a lovely glossy sheen.  There are no scratches just a small number of very faint hairlines that have no affect on the audio of course.  The previous owner informed me it wasn't played a great deal and indeed there is not very much spindle wear at all.

Play grading  

'Innuendo' has only the lightest of static on the intro and then plays with excellent clarity and depth.  The sonic quality on this track is so strong, it really does play with incredible power.  You can turn the volume up with no fear of distortion, the 'loud' sound is all encompassing.  The only 'background' are a handful of crackle sounds on the first few seconds of the quiet 'Spanish guitar' section.  The rest of the track plays without fault and is a superb listen.  'I'm Going Slightly Mad' plays with sublime clarity from the first note and is immaculate throughout with no interference of any kind.  'Headlong' also impresses with great power and has no clicks or pops, a superb version.  The two final tracks 'I Can't Live With You' and 'Ride The Wild Wind' have no obvious 'background' and can only be described as Near Mint the quality is first class.  There is 3/4 seconds of mega quiet static on the intro of the final track but it isn't intrusive.

'All God's People' plays in impeccable style from the very first note and in fact plays as Mint- all the way through bar a little quiet static on the fade out.  The classic 'These Are The Days Of Our Lives' plays with excellent clarity and I only heard 3/4 light static sounds, nothing intrusive.  'Delilah' is superb from start to finish and is a superb listen with no interference.  The quiet intro on 'Don't Try So Hard' has a little light static but there are no clicks or pops.  The rest of the track is very clear with no other static apart from a little on the fade out.  'The Hitman' plays loud and true with no distortion and no clicks or pops.  The very quiet 'Bijou' has wonderfully clear sound with not even a dust tick and certainly no clicks or pops.  'The Show Must Go On' plays with immense power and end the album in superb style.  There is often some distortion on this track but there is very little here and it plays very clearly indeed.  The long fade out has only some light static in the background.

The Cover

The is one of the cleanest covers I have seen in a long time.  It is becoming increasingly difficult to find one as good as this, it is in fantastic condition.  The edges, spine and corners are as new and it has retained its 'whiteness' superbly well both the front and back cover and there are no marks at all.  There is just one small crease near the opening edge on the front cover and that is the only 'negative' if you can call it that.  The opening edge itself is very clean with no obvious handling wear.  Overall this is a lovely example of this cover and will not disappoint.

This is near perfect with only a couple of faint creases.

The labels

They are super clean with no marking/writing and very little spindle wear as stated.
