Label/Format: Atlantic – deep rich colour and quite heavy textured surfaces with deep inner ring ridge. 
Label Conditions: Two superb labels that are very attractive, also quite unusual in finish. Fresh, clean and appearing hardly used with any spindle marks tiny, very few and faint. 
Cat Number: K 50014 . 
Country of Manufacture: England. 
Mode / Speed: Stereo / 33.3 rpm. 
Weight of this Record: 135 grams. A very good solid weight for this one. 
Rarity: Moderate as this sold well as most Zeppelin albums did. However, this slightly later pressing is quite unusual and absolutely superb in terms of condition and press quality. 
Much heavier than most I have held and with quite heavily textured labels and early matrixes. It appears hardly played and that is equally unusual for a popular album.  So many of these have inherent surface noise and pressing noises, this has none and plays as well as any I have ever listened to. 
Great cover and inner as well, put as a package, they seldom get much better.

Run-Out Groove Text: ‘STIRLING RL’ / ‘STERLING RL’. 
Brief Artist & Album Info: Their brilliant fifth album and the first that never appeared on the famous Plum format in the UK. Often underrated, compared to the first four but unjustifiably so, how could any band follow classics of that stature indefintely? - answer, to do something a little different and Houses of the Holy works beautifully, only slightly blemished (in my opinion) by two lesser songs: ‘The Crunge’ which experimented with a funk sound and the reggae track ‘D’yer Mak’er’, which really does not work for me. 
The other six songs are pure classic Led Zeppelin at their very best. Chart topping in both the UK and US this album again proved a popular big-seller. 
This is a quality little-played copy with impressive clean sound.


Condition of Vinyl: EX+ with an EX++ or slightly better AUDIO. 
There are quite a lot of very, very light only hairline surface marks.
A lovely piece of glossy vinyl. 
Remember i am grading my records under a very strong light. This is an AMAZING copy with an AMAZING sound, practically perfect!!!
LABELS: 
The labels are in great condition. Splendid deeply coloured attractive examples. No wear around the hole areas, with all ink uneroded and fully intact. Virtually no spindle traces to be found.  The vinyl still fits very tightly around the record spindle.  Deep intact colour, Minimal spindle traces only.  Great all round examples!.Check photos.
Plays loud, strong and incredibly vibrant with amazing depth and clarity to the sound and my play-check at loud volume found no major audio issues of note - no scratches and no grove-wear or distortion.  Plays nearly perfect, with some very, very light surface noise only at times in the run-ins and some of the quietest passages but at times all you hear is silence. AMAZING AUDIO!!!


This is a great record!!!. Beautiful!!!   No jumps or skips.
Condition of Cover: EX+. 
There is very, very light wear to this copy.
There are no splits or tears, the sleeve is intact.

There are some very light signs of ring wear on the back.
There is a light sign of an old sticker to the top right of the cover, hardly visible.
The Spine is practically perfect. Check photos!!!
There is some very light wear along the edges. 
The inner is in good condition but it is all wrinkled at the bottom and slightly dirty. 
 TRULLY UNMISSABLE!!!

GRADING:

All records are graded using the UK ‘Record Collector’ format:

MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. 

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. 

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

PACKAGING INFORMATION:

LPs and singles will be sent in a record mailing envelope and will be protected by two cardboard stiffeners.
