From Atlantic Records (LP 1340), this is  PHILLY JOE'S BEAT by

PHILLY JOE JONES, an original monaural high fidelity pressing from 1960.

Cover is beautiful showing no flaws and no signs of wear or age (MINT). In addition,

the jacket is sturdy showing intact seams and strong, nicely blocked spine with printing

dead center. There are no spindle marks on either deep groove label and playing surfaces

appear MINT showing high gloss which means no groove wear. Play grades at about NEAR

MINT to solid MINT with the faintest whisper of intermittent extraneous noise which

never intrudes. In fact, one really has to stretch to hear anything other than some fine

hard bop. Wow. You'll not find a better copy of this May 20, 1960 session!

When you buy from a small Mom & Pop business you

are not helping a CEO buy a third vacation home,

a second yacht or a four hundred million dollar golden

parachute.  Instead, you’re helping a little girl get

dance lessons, a little boy get his team jersey,

a Mom put food on the table, a Dad pay a mortgage,

or a student pay for college. Our customers are our

shareholders; they are the ones we strive to make happy.

Thank you for supporting small businesses.
