For auction is the "BILLY TAYLOR TRIO with CANDIDO" on Prestige PRLP 7051, MONO, 1956.

SOUND: VG+/NM-

It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. The sound is fantastic, very clean, with no flaws to report.

VINYL: VG

Visually, the vinyl has minor scuffs and smudges, but nothing looking serious. The worst scuff is in A2, "Bit of Bedlam," but it has no effect on the sound. The record looks worse than it sounds, because it sounds great! The record is on gold/black "fireworks" label, with deep grooves and "446 West 50th Street" address. "RVG" is etched in dead wax on both sides.

COVER: VG+

The cover is nice. The edges are solid all around, and the corners good, with some minor wear, and a bump on the lower left. The back cover is very clean, with 2 "promo" stamps, otherwise unmarked. Front cover has routine ring-wear, otherwise it's clean and unmarked.

The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics.

A sought-after record, in very nice condition! No reserve, bidding starts at $10.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.

Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.

If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction. I'm not a collector, nor an audiophile, but I think they are desirable if you're into this kind of material.  Click "see other items" and thanks for looking!
