For auction is WAYNE SHORTER's "Night Dreamer" on Blue Note BLP 4173, MONO, 1964. with Lee Morgan, McCoy Tyner, Elvin Jones and Reggie Workman.

SOUND: NM

It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. The sound is brilliant, absolutely delightful! You will not be disappointed.

VINYL: VG+

Visually, the vinyl has a few longer, though faint scratches and scuffs on each side. Nothing that is beyond the surface, and it obviously doesn't affect the playback. The labels are nice and clean, with a few light spindle marks. The record has "Van Gelder" stamped in the runouts both sides as well as the "ear" symbol. Matrix #'s are etched: "BNLP-4173 A // BNLP-4173 B"

COVER: VG+

The cover is very nice. The edges are solid with minor wear. Corners are good with routine softening. The front has a bit of shelf-wear that can be seen at an angle. There is a radio station cat# sticker upper left corner. The back cover is exceptionally nice. It is quite clean with little wear and minor, routine aging.

The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics.

Fantastic record in all respects. No reserve, bidding starts at $50.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.

Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.

If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction. I'm not a collector, nor an audiophile, but I think they are desirable if you're into this kind of material.  Click "see other items" and thanks for looking!
