ORIGINAL LIMITED EDITION SPECIAL METALLIC SILVER FINISH COVER, ONCE AGAIN UNUSED, A LIGHT RECORD
IMPRESSION AND A FEW ASSOCIATED TINY EDGE LINES AND LIGHT RIPPLES.   
The metallic covers always had an extra impact from the surprisingly heavyweight vinyl, even unplayed records like this were
  affected , but minimally due to the lack of constant handling.  I always grade accordingly but it is crazy when an unplayed
record has been inside for 27 years, I always try to give a realistic expectation without losing sight of an unused record......
and cover.
THE COVER IS IN A MINIMUM  OF EXCELLENT+++ / NEAR MINT- CONDITION.


THE IMMACULATE LABELS DO NO HAVE ANY SPINDLE TRACES,THE 'AS NEW' VINYL IS WITH OUT ANY KIND

    For such a prolific artists, the Jimi Hendrix Experience Peel Sessions became the rarest in the series, so few copies were made
and bought, there hardly any around at record fairs in 1989 or in the 1990's.  When I write, 'rare' I have to always be aware of
the internet creating a situation where world wide availability does produce multiple choices  of the rarest records from every
decade.  Well not this time, even the UK CD versions are rarely seen, I checked the whole of ebay and this is the one and only
original UK BBC official vinyl being offered..and in unplayed Mint as well, which this will positively remain for the next owner.
Not one CD version is not on sale on the UK site, just the one CD is being sold in Italy and that is not the UK original with the
same cover as the vinyl edition, the inlay has different artwork and it could well be a bootleg.  The 'Peel Session' was actually
a Promo for the "Rado One" LP and the cover of the yet to be released album is pictured on the back of the silver metallic cover.
The 80's decade saw the BBC gathering together various Radio albums and tapes from the 60's and beyond, to release on their own
label.  Not huge projects like the Jimi Hendrix complete BBC sessions, they gave that to Castle Communications to press and issue,
the same would happen for the Beatles BBC radio sessions and that was handled by EMI.

To say 1967 was a year of Hendrix magical music, is a massive understatement!  Two albums had well and truly established him and
if ever an artist was suited to play live radio sessions, Jimi and the Experience never played a songs exactly the same and that
made the BBC recordings so fascinating.   From his second album, "Axis Bold As Love", the December, 1967 session included the
magnificent "Spanish Castle Magic" and an intriguing version of the Beatles "Day Tripper" , along with "Wait Until Tomorrow", the
pure blues improvisations on "Hear My Train A Comin.' "  Just to top that off, the fifth and the opening track features a very laid
back, relaxed "Radio 1 Theme", a promo jingle written and performed by the great Jimi Hendrix.   As they were in BBC Studios,
or the famous Playhouse Theatre in London, mono the sound quality is superb, above all else, the charm  and excitement of
these session, giving a chance to hear unique Jimi Hendrix recordings.

We have kept all our charges at the same level for years now, but due to the Post Office's new price increases, regretfully we
will have to increase the cost of LP's, however, singles will remain unchanged.  Ebay were aware of that happening and have
  increased their minimum postal cost for LP's to £7.00, that figure has been enforced by the UK Post Office and it will become
our UK First Class, Recorded Delivery cost for albums up to the value of £46.  A temporary reduction this week means we can
now post LP's for £5, but who knows how long before the Post Office return to £7?

For LP's valued above £46, the cost will be £9, we are unhappy about either increase but our high standard of packaging has meant
