Brahms Violin Concerto Johanna Martzy Aust Columbia 33OCX 1165
On this extremelly rare record, Johanna Martzy with the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Paul Kletzki performs the Brahms “Violin Concerto”. An Australian mono pressing on the Columbia Label (33OCX 1165), the labels are dark blue with gold lettering and this is a pancake pressing. The record is of fairly worn appearance with scuffs and marks (well loved would describe it) and it plays and sounds very well with consistent surface noise and some crackle. The cover is also worn with creases and a couple of small tears around the edges.
