I  have cleaned with Okki Nokki record cleaning machine prior to verifying quality of vinyl through playback on Rega Planar 2 Deck

 

VINYL IN VG+  CONDITION

Some light / superficial surface marks/light whispy fine hairlines visible - nothing deep scratches - Have checked vinyl under a bright light

Having playtested the vinyl on a Regar Plan 2 deck

There were no skips, jumps, or sticks, but there were some periodic background surface noise/low level clicks on Side B 

plus one click on near beginning of A3 The Village and lengthy background clicks on A4 5 8 6

Otherwise the sound quality is excellent, – no deterioration in sound quality. 

 

Record labels are clean and the print is clearly visible. 

 

No writing on the record label

 

No sticky residue or discoloration.

 

Except for many spidermarks around the centre hole & light spindle wear.

 

SLEEVE & INNER SLEEVE IN VG+ CONDITION

The sleeve has general storage wear from rubbing & handling etc  i.e the sleeve has some light creases  & wear on/near the edges

Sleeve inner has record ring wear/light handling wear - but no splits or tears.

GRADINGS ARE BASED ON RECORD COLLECTOR

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

I DO NOT SELL ANY VINYL GRADED LESS THAN VG, UNLESS IT IS ANYTHING THAT IS VERY RARE OR SPECIAL.
