Terrific band of local coal miners from Manahoy City, Pennsylvania, who had a "village music" band - here they perform the "veselja" or wedding feast. So, there's some dialogue in between folk music dances and jaunty songs. With clarinet, accordion, some brass, both solo and group vocals. Vocalists are Adomas Saukevicius and Marijona Urbas. Recorded in New York in April of 1929.

Condition: V++ (some light wear and marks)
