You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.

We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.

We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status!  Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... PLEASE ENJOY THIS ITEM YOU ARE NOW LOOKING AT..

THE VINYL    EX+ STRONG   INCREDIBLE  CONDITION

As you can see, this vinyl is the EARLIEST 1st UK SPACESHIP pressing -Stored from new this LP has seen very few plays- AND WAS STORED FROM NEW, and remains in pristine condition everywhere.

This first pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.

No spider lines around the centre hole, and no wear to the spindle hole whatsoever. SURPLUS WAX AROUND THE CENTRE HOLE

There are a few light whisp lines and a couple of tiny hairlines and thats it-  nothing else!  There are some light No scrathces marks or unwanted signs of wear

Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years..

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

 

THE LABELS   MINT   SPACESHIP VERTIGO LABELS  - By 1980 Vertigo had started using the orange labels and discarded the spaceship design in the UK, so for this album to surface in 1982 with the spaceship labels is very rare..possibly we feel they were using up old stock labels? No otherUK release from this era was on spaceship.

This is straight out the box from  1982 - incredible condition , we do not auction any sleeves that we deem to have 'wear' so rest assured you are looking at a sleeve of stunning condition..

FINDING A COPY OF THIS SLEEVE THIS GOOD IS PRETTY MUCH IMPOSSIBLE AS IT WAS A TERROR FOR EASY DAMAGE AND RING WEAR, SCUFF ETC..

BUT..NOT THIS ONE!!!!

The edges are all super clean with only some very fine traces of rub, and tip rub and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition. This sleeve which is so hard to preserve without wear has clearly been stored away for decades!

No powdery white ringwear or even ring press of any note, and all edges are super crisp.

There are a few tiny light spider lines over the edges in a few places.

The open edge remains in immaculate shape.. only the tiniest sign of some light thumbing on the top edge- which is consistent in 99.9% of all sleeves..

WE CLARIFY BY SAYING, ALL THINGS CONSIDERED THIS SLEEVE IS OUTSTANDING QUALITY.
