'ITS THE VINYL COUNTDOWN'
Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.
We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.
We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status! Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... PLEASE ENJOY THIS ITEM YOU ARE NOW LOOKING AT..

'VAGABONDS OF THE WESTERN WORLD'
SIMPLY INCREDIBLE MINT COPY EARLIEST MATRIX AND OVERALL POSSIBLY THE BEST COPY WE HAVE EVER SEEN..THE VINYL APPEARS UNPLAYED!DUE TO THE RARITY OF THIS LP's CONDITION, WE HAVE PLACED A SMALL SENSIBLE RESERVE ON IT - IT IS, IN THIS CONDITION, WORTH WAY MORE THAN THE RESERVE SO GOOD LUCK! ;0)
From a Private music business associate, this LP is from a collection of archived 'from new' LPs, all are simply outstanding condition with only one play of the vinyl...
See our others listed, there's a lot more to come from this collection-all in this amazing condition..

THE VINYL STONE MINT 'MUSEUM' CONDITION
YES, Here is a copy that is simply as good as we have ever seen.. As you can see, this vinyl is the EARLY 1st UK pressing from 1973 -Stored from new this LP remains in pristine condition everywhere. The best example we have seen.
This first pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.
No spider lines around the centre hole, and no wear to the spindle hole whatsoever. It really is pristine!
There is barely a hint of any whisp lines and thats it- nothing else! Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years..
As we placed the stylus on what looks like a brand new vinyl we heard barely a hint of lead in static as the vinyl explodes into the rich huge sound of this classic LP..the sound is quite simply jaw dropping!
IT REMAINS IN ASTONISHING CONDITION. WE HAVE CERTAINLY NEVER SEEN A BETTER VINYL THAN THIS IN 30 YEARS.
THE LABELS MINT FLAT MATT 1st issue BLUE 'BOXED LOGO' LABELS
THE SLEEVE MINT- IMMACULATE
Correct UK 1973 first edition FLAT MATT FINISH SLEEVE first issued earliest sleeve with 'square' Sspine- manufactured By 'Robert Stace' - later sleeves had virtually no spine..finding one with the 'proud' spine is a first for us!
This is straight out the box from 1973 - incredible condition , we do not auction any sleeves that we deem to have 'wear' so rest assured you are looking at a sleeve of stunning condition..
As we all know, this particular sleeve is just impossible to find in any condition these days..most copies suffer terrible ring wear on the back top and front bottom in particular..well stand aside!!!! this sleeve has none!
The edges are all super clean with no traces of rub, at all , and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition. This sleeve which is so hard to preserve without wear has clearly been stored away for decades!
No powdery white ringwear or even ring press of any note, and all edges are super crisp.
The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition with not a hint of handling
The spine edge is totally unmarked -a few light tiny spider lines and some very feint tip rub and thats about it.
a couple of tiny incidental spider lines over the edges.
The back sleeve is simply incredible..one could argue the feintest feintest ring press, but honestly this is slight!..we have no hesitation in saying this is as good as it gets..
We have never seen better ever..and to find the 'square spine' sleeve is just so rare.
LYRIC SHEET: MINT- Yes here and Superb condition, some very very light mottling spots only.
THE INNER SLEEVE MINT-
Original printed DECCA poly lined paper inner..immaculate no wear or damage
