Bought by myself in the first few weeks of release, way back in that long-ago Autumn of 1972. This 1st pressing textured copy is in superb condition throughout and has spent most of its life in a protective plastic sleeve. I hardly ever played the album as I tended to record my LP's on to cassettes and listen to those instead. I would say that this is as close to a top copy as it gets. The catalogue number is Charisma CAS 1058, with 'PORKY/PECKO' A-1U/B-1U matrices. Is this the greatest Progressive Rock album ever made? (I am biased but the answer is in the affirmative, closely followed by Yes' 'Close To The Edge').

Gatefold sleeve  Ex+/NM Outside textured. In lovely condition throughout, nice sharp edges and hardly any scuffing or rubbing. The red lettering is still very bright and has not suffered any fading.

Labels NM Early salmon-pink 'large hatter' labels with B&C credits. Virtually no spindle traces to be seen. Almost like new.

Inner Ex Original Charisma advertising inner - 'Charisma Puts A Little Colour In Your Cheeks'!

Record  Visually Ex+/NM, pretty much like new. Superb shine to the vinyl, no marks seen in normal light. Even under a very strong light only the faintest wispy sleeve-removal hairlines can be seen, and there are not many of those! I have carefully played the album from start to finish and it still sounds fantastic, just the occasional momentary crackle caused by dust or static.
