This is the original deep-groove RVG-etched ”P”- pressing of Zoot Sims “Quartets” on the West 50th St. labels of Prestige PRLP 7026. The flat rim playing surface is generally in beautiful condition, with a high luster; an inaudible scuff at the beginning of each side; Side A has a few inaudible handling marks on the first track; perhaps a very occasional non-repetitive tic. The coated frame West 50th St. Cover is bright and clean throughout; rubbing along the top of the spine and the bottom seam; darkened right edge of the back slick.
