This is the rare original RVG-etched deep-groove “P”-pressing of “Sonny Rollins” on the Lexington Avenue labels of Blue Note BLP 1542. The flat rim playing surface is in excellent condition, with normal inaudible splotching caused by storage in the non-acid free inner sleeve; inaudible scuff on Side 2; perhaps played once. The West 63 St. frame cover is in amazingly bright and clean condition; rubbing along the spine and bottom seam; 4 ¼” professional repair of opening split on the bottom seam.
