For the first time ever in one unique box set, ABKCO Records has released ALL MONO studio recordings by The Rolling Stones in REMASTERED SOUND QUALITY.  Getting a low number box set indicates these records were probably one of the very early sets pressed.  Many believe this means the sound you hear will be the best possible, better than all the later numbered pressings.  The photo shows the box set number, under the clear shrink wrap.  The "line" across the photo is just the join line in the clear shrink.   

The mastering is by acclaimed GRAMMY award winning engineer Bob Ludwig at Gateway Mastering. He used Direct Stream Digital (DSD) transfers from the Original Master Recordings, with a sampling rate of 2,822,400. Lacquer cutting for vinyl was performed at Abbey Road Studios by Alex Wharton and Sean Magee. Sean did the Beatles Mono box set.  All the vinyl box sets are numbered and pressed on 180-gram vinyl.  The Rolling Stones in Mono project was overseen by Teri Landi, ABKCO’s Grammy award winning Chief Audio Engineer.
