DONALD BYRD “At the Half Note Café” RVG, P, LAM, Blue Note 4060 Mono Vinyl
This is the "RVG" stamped, Laminated Cover, Mono P-pressing of DONALD BYRD “At the Half Note Café” Volume 1 on the "47 West 63rd” labels of Blue Note BLP 4060.
VINYL plays very well, nearly mint with infrequent pops or ticks. One loud pop on Side 2, #1 sounds six times. Ensemble sections are very dynamic, punchy and clear. No Skips. No locked grooves. No distortion. Good gloss. Clean surface with a few non feelable hairline marks. (If you can’t feel it you won’t hear it) The "47 West 63rd” labels are generally clean with spindle marks, some wear. Water stain on label, Side 2. See photos.
STEREO (ST-84060) LAMINATED COVER is EXCELLENT, SPINE AND SEAMS SOLID. “BLUE NOTE RECORDS, 43 West 61st St., New York 23, N.Y.” back jacket is clean with some pencil handwriting. Please see photos.
This LP was play-tested. RECORD CLEANED ON ULTRASONIC CLEANER.
