HERBIE HANCOCK "Maiden Voyage" RVG, Blue Note  Stereo 84195 Vinyl This is the first edition, 1965, Stereo, "VAN GELDER" stamped pressing of HERBIE HANCOCK's "Maiden Voyage" on the "New York" labels of Blue Note BLP 84195. Musicians include Herbie Hancock — piano, Freddie Hubbard — trumpet, George Coleman — tenor saxophone, Ron Carter — bass, Tony Williams — drums. VINYL: super clean, dead quiet, near mint, with occasional pops or ticks. Ensemble sections are strong, clear, and powerful. No Skips. No locked grooves. No distortion. Very Good gloss. Handful of non-feelable hairline marks, three feelable, two long. Super clean surface.  The "New York" labels are clean with spindle marks. See photos. COVER is in quite good shape, corners worn. Price sticker. A few marks, ringwear. Seams and spine solid, with some cracking, 2” split on lower seam. Masking tape on right side at opening. "BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC., 43 West 61st St., New York 23" back jacket is clean.  Please see photos. This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system. RECORD CLEANED ON ULTRASONIC CLEANER.
