PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question.   OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week.   Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. ...Original 1971 first pressing small pressing of the highly interesting underground progressive rock band.

Polyphony’s "Without Introduction" is renowned for being a highly-collectable and listenable album of psych/prog jams reminiscent of some of the British or Italian psych monsters from the early ‘70s, i.e. "Raw Material," etc.

Released in 1971 on the Eleventh Hours label (Eleventh Hour 1003), this hard progressive rock outfit from Virginia features some stunning guitar and keyboard work, as well as a percussionist at home on congas, timbales and just about everything hittable. The band is definitely influenced by early UK exponents of progressive-rock.

A jaw-dropping album from one the United States' earliest progressive rock bands. The album is dominated by heavy Hammond organ and an active core of drum play and conga bashing, as well as a penchant for surrealistic lyrics and off-center vocals, making it a masterpiece of prog and psychedelic styling.   This is one of those mythical releases that you think you'll never hear because it's been out of orbit RARE for so long and there seems to be no intention of re-issuing it.   "Juggernaut" opens with outbursts of sound until it stays. Some interesting spacey sound-effets after a minute as percussion and drums support. Synths and heavier sound follows. Solo Hammond organ before 4 minutes then drums and bass return followed by the guitar which proceeds to rip it up. Vocals for the first time after 9 1/2 minutes; So good. Guitar and organ lead when the vocals stop.   "40 Second Thing in 39 Seconds" is a mini-moog extravaganza. Very experimental but short.   "Ariel's Flight" features angular sounds early on with some raw sounding guitar. It changes a minute in as the organ and drums start to lead. Chunky bass 3 minutes in and vocals follow. Man, this is so good. The bass is ground-shaking. A change 5 1/2 minutes in as the organ comes to the fore. This is actually ANGLAGARD-like; Amazing. Vocals come and go. A calmness with vocals 11 1/2 minutes in then it gets full again with pulsating Hammond organ and vocals; Hello!   "Crimson Dagger" opens with organ and drums as guitar and bass join in. A spacey vibe comes in before 3 minutes. A relaxing soundscape follows then the vocals join in. Backing vocals too on this one.   Overall, any hype on this album must be considered to be justified - these guys can play!                                           SIDE I

2. 40 Second Thing In 39 Seconds (1:07)

SIDE II
3. Ariel's Flight (15:15)
