Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. One may wonder in photo's whats with the thick 12-inch thick gatefold jacket coming with specially psychedelic designed 10-inch cover AND RECORD. Well, the two jackets & vinyl represent the full complete 1967 advertising article ...
***By the way: the numeral 6 on the thick gatefold is made from a 6 cut from thick jeans material !
> Pressed in only very minor numbers for the promotion of the then new style of white Levi jeans and in 1967 for advertising purposes Jefferson Airplane was about the not only the biggest but coolest name in the music business spearheading the '67 peak sensations of the just rising "San Francisco Hippie Scene" ...and it's unfathomable that a group of this stature would take the time and effort to write not only special commercial jingles but original tunes accentuating with the style they'd become famous for!
