Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Sgt Pepper 12" 1967 FIRST PRESS extra dot mono original Parlophone pressing LP vinyl' in overall VERY GOOD condition.

VINYL:-
Visual:
Side 1 - quite a lot of hairlines and light scratches. Some of them are feelable but only very lightly and they're not deep. Rated as VERY GOOD- Label is VERY GOOD-. Side 2 - same as Side 1 with longer hairlines but nothing that is deep.
**PLAYS A LOT BETTER THAN IT LOOKS**

Audio:
Audio currently rated as a strong VERY GOOD+!! I have play-tested this all the way through and can confirm that there are NO SKIPS, NO JUMPS and NO STICKS on my system!! There is some light background crackle present but it isn't that audible and never gets in the way! It's mainly heard in the quieter passages and in-between tracks but during the audio, not much can be heard - it sounds great considering the visual grading!! The original mono mix of Sgt Pepper is incredible! On this particular example, the bass is very rich and the highs are crisp! Full original tonality is present and it's a thoroughly enjoyable listen from start to finish! Lies very flat and plays very well!

Original unused cutout card is in EXCELLENT- condition! No creases, rips or tears, just the lightest of discolouration and light age-related wear. Nothing serious and still looks great!!

The original 1967 mono gatefold sleeve is 100% intact and is in VERY GOOD+ condition. Now, I'm not sure if this is a widespine or not. It could be a widespine that has been pinched or folding incorrectly over the years but it's probably just a really good example of the normal spine. The front of the sleeve has light edgewear and light laminated creasing towards the edges. Very clean, just some slight age-related storage wear but nothing too serious! The rear of the sleeve is nice and clean with light laminate creasing and light ringwear - nothing too serious and still looks great! The inner gatefold is clean with little damage. Interesting point:- the left flipback looks to have been glued down wonky...not sure but it doesn't ruin the functionality of this great sleeve. Elsewhere, there is light corner rubbing and edgewear. The spine is 100% readable and clean! It does have some wear towards the top of the spine where the white has peeled off but it is not split!
