Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Rubber Soul 12" 1965 mono original Parlophone LP vinyl press' in overall VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ condition. 

VINYL:-
Visual:
Side 1 - quite a few hairlines, light scratches and sleeve removal trails. Nothing deep or feelable! Rated as VERY GOOD. Label is VERY GOOD. Side 2 - quite a few hairlines, with a feelable scratch on track 6. Doesn't feel too deep and doesn't affect play! Rated as VERY GOOD-. Label is VERY GOOD.

Audio:
In my opinion, the audio is a very strong VERY GOOD+!!! I have play tested it all the way through and can confirm that there are NO SKIPS, NO JUMPS and NO STICKS on my system! Light background crackle is present in the quieter passages and in between tracks. A deep clean could help with this. Elsewhere, it can't really be heard that much! This seems like a well-played but well looked after copy that is holding up really well! VERY punchy audio with a rich bass tone and crisp highs. Original tonality is present and there isn't too much to fault here! Lies flat and plays well! A very enjoyable listen at a STEAL of a price with NO RESERVE!!



The original mono flipback sleeve is 100% intact and houses the record very well. I rate it as VERY GOOD!! The front of the sleeve does have some laminate creases and a crease to the bottom right hand corner (this can be seen in the pictures). The rear of the sleeve is nice and clean with only a very small pen mark next to the track 'Girl'. not really noticeable and doesn't affect the sleeve that much! Flipbacks are tight and only have slight age-related wear and light creases. The spine is 100% readable and looks great! Nice and square with some slight rounding towards the top and bottom edges.
