PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question.   OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week.   Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support.   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SHIPPING:   USA ~ 1 LP $4.00 Media; 2-4 discs $5.00; .50 each additional disc Priority rates vary by area; please inquire.     All Canadian and Overseas shipping ~ Please inquire about rates. BEAUTIFUL TOP COPY ... ARCHIVE MINT ... THEY DON'T COME ANY BETTER !!!

In glorious MONO with the bass-powered deep production punch ... pressed onthe  totally obscure "LIFE" Records label ... the LP was picked up by major label DECCA, but finding a beautiful copy on the LIFE label is something special!

The Surfaris were the early to mid sixties quintesential American surf/garage rock band. The teens formed in Glendora, California, 40 miles east of Los Angeles, in 1962. They are best known for two songs that hit the charts in the Los Angeles area, and nationally by May 1963: "Surfer Joe" and "Wipe Out", which were the A-side and B-side of the same 45 rpm single.

It was WIPE-OUT that turned the tide for the band led by an energetic drum solo accompanied by revved-up guitar soloing... "Wipe Out" became one of the best-remembered songs of the period, so influential that about every garage band throughout the USA performed their own version...

With the surf scene morphing into the garage rock scene, by 1965 The Surfaris changed their direction and joined the garage rock scene delivering their best - most solid LP "It Ain't Me Babe" which basically featured the Surfaris takes of the most hip songs from the mid sixties. Both sides are filled with memorable grooves crafted by the Surfaris own unique west-coast surfy-garage sound with strumming and reverb guitars leading the  way. Oh yeah, and the now sing on this platter too. Overall the Lp offers a decidedly surprising array of enjoyment, recommended to virtually all garage and '60s rock collectors....
