Although it LOOKS and FEELS the same, it is Not (quite) the 1966 first pressing. A MINT copy sold for $2000+ recently...but rather here is the exact =MONO= pressing from 1977 and still 40 years old...long long gone...

This album - "Impact" - by Kenny And The Kasuals has been cited by Rolling Stone Magazine as one of the most collectible of American albums ever...so who were Kenny and The Kasuals? One of the hottest mid the top teen gaarge band in North Texas from 1964-68, and the Impact album was recorded live at Dallas teen hangout 'The Studio Club'...Raw, spirited and filled with a teenaged boy's offhand attitude toward relationships...

When it comes to early Texas rock groups you may hear names like Kit and the Outlaws, The Nightcaps or even The Briks. The band that stands out in our opinion is Kenny and the Kasuals. Being a electrified tight garage band, this group still could hang with more popular groups of the day, like The Wailers or The Sonics.   Full length records were not common for small rock bands of this day and age, and the full length LP was recorded live at the Studio Club. Kwnny & The Kasuals were known for their live performances so it was an easy choice to record the full length Lp live. The Kasuals consisted of Kenny Daniel (vocals and guitar), Jerry Smith (lead guitar), Tommy Nichols (harmonica), Paul Roach (organ/keyboards), Lee Lightfoot (bass), and David Blackley (drums).   Impact consisted of a slew of classic movers and groovers of the day: “Gloria”, “All The Day And All of the Night”, and “Farmer John” most notably The Kinks cover of “It’s All Right” and “I’m Not Talking” delivered in Yardbirds fashion. Both hopped up punker versions. Opening with burning fuzz-tone guitars, wailing vocals and driving bass lines, these versions give the originals a run for their money, Dallas style. This record was recorded in 1966 originally. Only 500 copies were pressed making the originals impossible to find, let alone being able to afford.  Grab this exact "official" 2ndpress from 1977 before its also too late...
