PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question.   OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week.   Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support.   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SHIPPING:   USA ~ 1 LP $4.00 Media;

....STILL FACTORY SEALED 1966 "GARAGE" ARTIFACT....

From the early '60s up until 1966 keyboardist Johnny Boggs, drummer Dave Clelland, bassist Tom Cordle and lead guitarist Bob Hey were members of The Ramrods who issued some great garage singles.  In early 1966 they split with Ramrods founder Tom Carter, forming The Soundsations. Following the split the Soundsations were hired as the house band by Kalamazoo's Colony Room (a great looking place to play judging by the album cover photo).  Guitarist Hey was quickly lost to the draft, with Dexter Bell stepping in as a replacement.

Produced by CAP Studios, 1966's "Soundsations"  ~ "SHOUT" Featuring raw garage mixes of popular '60s tunes, the Soundsations  album rates highly with collectors into original high level rarities...  The groups only album, "Shout" is fueled by organ & reverb-guitar propelled action with stripped down primitive production - straight from the garage in all classic senses.  The Soundsations were above all, a party band and the flavor permeates throughout  The group was approached by two guys from Phlanx Records, a local Michigan recording company about doing this album to sell off the bandstand. A case of beer and an assortment of wives, girlfriends, and bar patrons were brought into the studio to sing background and sing some of the tunes in a live party atmosphere. A thousand copies were pressed and sold from the bandstand. Used "VG" copies had been getting around $200 back in the nineties. Here's a rare factory sealed original ... never opened / never played ...amazing when you think about the tiny pressing from 50 years ago - any surviving copies found will by any chance of luck still be playable amid clicks and pops ... here's the rare exception to obtain an unplayed stone/mint/"new" copy of the limited '66 production in thick cardboard cover. They don't produce records like this anymore!

Following this album's release the group undertook a series of regional tours, but the lack of commercial success led to internal frustrations, with the band calling it quits after Boggs and Cordle got into a nasty fight during a performances in Green Bay, Wisconsin and the Soundsations fractured into oblivion.
