ELVIS PRESLEY - "FOR LP FANS ONLY" (LPM-1990) - FIRST PRESSING!

RECORD:  VG+ with very pleasing surfaces. There are just a few too many surface scratches to make the EXCELLENT (VG++) grade. I played this record in its entirety and it sounded great! Definitely no skips, repeats or distracting "ticks".  The matrix numbers on this Indianapolis pressing are 1S/1S, the very earliest possible! The labels are super clean with just some very light spindle marks noticeable. This has been well cared for record that was more than likely adult-owned since new. 

COVER:  VG+ with no actual seam splits. There is a lower seam break, but it does not extend to the open end (see photo). There is some very minor edge wear along with some light surface scuffing from contact with other LP's and a name written very lightly at the top of the back side.  There is what seems to be a natural bend in the cover material that runs straight across Elvis' forehead on the front and extends around to the opposite side. This is NOT a crease and appears to be "as-made". The spine is fully legible with no breaks. There is definitely no tape or staple holes anywhere on this cover. This is a very original and highly presentable piece of early Rock n' Roll.  

INNER SLEEVE:  The original RCA Victor sleeve depicting a hodgepodge of recently released easy listening LP's available at the time". Elvis was RCA Victor's ONLY Rock n' Roll artist for a number of years.
