Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Quite SCARCE Original 1969 first pressing by THE HOU-LOPS; one of the more popular '60s teen scene bands from north of the border. The popular band managed a slew of 45's & 6 or so Lp's...none better than (this) their 1969 offering which finds the group turning on to the fuzz-psych sound...

Released by the Quebec-based CANUSA label, 1969's "Les Hou-Lops 69" captured the band opting for a more eclectic shift toward a tougher rock sound. Mind you, there were still potential memorable hook laden "hits" material, including the pretty ballad 'Demain', 'L'Amite' and 'Tu Aimes'. While all of those performances are enjoyable, the real highlights are found in hearing the band go "heavy psych" via 'Hush' ~~ 'You Keep Me Hanging and the obscure JIMI Hendrix cover 'Love'. Best of all is a fuzzed up take of Creams 'Sunshine of Your Life' ...all said, lead singer Rousseau is quite good both in style & delivery. His English is also flawless making you wonder how big these guys might have been had they chosen to pursue an American teen-scene audience.
