An original 1969 copy of 'BIG HITS' on the UK Decca label - from within 3 years of 1st release. Matrix 1A/3A. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Mono gatefold cover - not a peephole version like the later copies. Also included is the original Decca inner sleeve. Vinyl (Ex+) Wow, this is like a new record! I mean it has barely been played at all. Under close inspection I'm struggling to spot a single mark - it's like a mirror. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Do bear in mind that so so many of these greatest hits LPs have been played to death over the years. Finding a little abused copy is not all that easy...finding one like this is 'needle in a haystack time!'. But when you find a sweet copy boy do they sound good - all in MONO. The test tracks 'Lady Jane' & 'As Tears Go By' ...they play clean as a whistle! Intros and inbetweens are perfectly clean and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Interference is totally absent. You might pick up two crackles per side - if you've got bat ears! A very easy and highly recommended..>>> FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex+) Wow, like, again! This is a dream copy - if you like your covers looking like minto check this one out. Don't think I've ever seen a better 60's copy - period. Front and back are perfectly flat and I can only make out one minuscule thumbnail crease front and back.  All pages are still stapled in fine and intact - no signs of heavy thumbing. There's zero edge wear and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact - a beauty. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A beautiful specimen - you could not beat!
Inner (Ex-) Lightest ageing. No splits. A couple of creases that's all.
